PLEDGES | The 'Pledge Scheme' returns for the 2023/24 season

Back to Blogs

Magpies Trust pledge scheme returns again for the 2023/24 season.

The scheme has been running for several seasons now and has raised over £10,000 for all sorts of projects at our football club. In the past we’ve raised money for Chorley FC Youth Development, ground improvements and Chorley FC Women.

This season we have decided to collect pledges to increase the balance of the 'Magpies Fund'.

The 'Magpies Fund' is a fund which our members control. Any purchase made through the Magpies Fund requires a vote from the members whether it be to purchase something around the ground or shares of Chorley Football Club.

You will be kept updated on the progress of the Pledge scheme via posts on our website. We'll tell you how much has been pledged, how much has been collected and how far we are away from our target of £2,000.

Pledges can be paid in a variety of ways:

  • Cash - Please hand this to John-Paul directly.
  • Card - Please see Alison or Julian
  • Online - Via our LocalGiving page, which allows GiftAid if you are a UK tax payer - https://localgiving.org/charity/MagpiesTrust/
  • And finally.. Cheques are accepted (payable to Chorley Independent Supporters Association)
