We have written to the current custodians of Chorley FC to ask them to make a request to the prospective new owners to attend a scheduled Magpies Trust members' meeting at the earliest opportunity. The Trust board believes it is important for members to be able to meet and establish a dialogue with new owners, enabling the owners to outline their plans for the future of Chorley FC and supporters to be able to ask questions and to express their views.
As we all know, the transfer of ownership is not yet complete, so it may not be possible for this to happen at the next scheduled meeting in May, in which case the invitation will be extended for the AGM in June, should the change of ownership be completed by that time. We will continue to update you where possible.
