PROGRAMME PIECE | Peterborough Sports

Back to Blogs

A warm welcome to supporters and directors from Peterborough Sports – We hope you enjoy your visit to Victory Park and have a safe journey home after the game.

Membership Update

We are 11 members shy of reaching 100. If we could reach that number then it would be 10% of our average attendance which currently stands at just over 1,000. Here’s a snapshot of a few questions we get asked about membership.

How much does it cost? £10 per year, or £5 per month to be a ‘Super Fan’
How do I register? On our website, at Trust HQ on matchdays or speak with a Trust board member – Look out for our lanyards to identify us.
Do I need to do anything else? You can be as active or inactive as you like. We are always looking for volunteers but if you can’t commit the time, your membership is commitment enough.

Meeting Update

As discussed at our meeting on 2nd November, we will be moving to a new format of a meeting every other month. Each month that there is no meeting, we will instead be providing an update featuring the usual information that you would receive at a meeting such as membership and financial information along with any further updates from the Trust or Club that are ready to be released.

Christmas Food Bank Collection

In previous years we have supported numerous charitable organisations and this Christmas is no different. Prior to the game against Buxton on 2nd December, we will be accepting donations which will then be taken to Living Waters Church in Chorley. Christmas can be a challenging time of year for many families and we want to do our part as Chorley Football Club to help where we can. An extensive list of items that the foodbank are short of can be found on our website but we will of course be accepting any non-perishable items for the collection. And we thank you in advance for your support.

Merry Quizmass!

Making its return is our eagerly anticipated Christmas Quiz which takes place on Thursday 7th December inside the social club at Victory Park. Doors open at 7pm with a brief Trust update taking place at 8pm before starting a different Q&A session at 8.30pm which could win you a CASH PRIZE. Tickets are available for just £3.00 for members and £4.00 for non-members and these can be purchased either on the Trust website or from Trust HQ. Included in your ticket price is a festive hot supper and of course a great night of entertainment! Families are welcomed and most definitely encouraged to attend what we class as our pinnacle event of the year.
