Welcome to Victory Park for tonight’s Vanarama National League North fixture against Gloucester City – A big welcome to the supporters who have travelled from Gloucestershire this evening.
Being part of a Supporters Trust doesn’t just give you an insight into the Club you represent but also you gain a small view of other Clubs by the way of networking. On my visits to other grounds, I always make it a priority to seek out and speak with representatives of other support organisations. On the visit to Gloucester last season, I did just that and met up with Robin who is the Chair of Gloucester City Supporters Trust.
During the last 10 months I have been lucky to be in contact with Robin who has provided some fundraising ideas, operation changes and has kindly provided me with some copies of programmes for content ideas. I plan to continue expanding our network to teams both above and below to get a greater overview on how Magpies Trust can adjust our operations which will help both the supporters and the Club.
As ever though, the work we do cannot be done without our band of volunteers. I’ve previously touched on this, but wanted to reiterate how thankful we are for them doing what they do. Tonight, they will be spending their time at Victory Park with a well earnt rest inside the Mariners Lounge as we wanted to use this opportunity to say thank you.
Tonight, we go for points. Next game is a small focus of Wem... One game at a time.

Membership Update
Our membership numbers stand at 95.
How much does it cost? £10 per year, or £5 per month to be a ‘Super Fan’
How do I register? On our website, at Trust HQ on matchdays or speak with a Trust board member – Look out for our lanyards to identify us.
Do I need to do anything else? You can be as active or inactive as you like. We are always looking for volunteers but if you can’t commit the time, your membership is commitment enough.
