Black and White Draw

The Black and White Draw is a lottery organised for the benefit of several football clubs in Central Lancashire. Chorley FC receive half of the money paid in by people recruited by or on behalf of the club. The Magpies Trust has decided to become an agent for the draw. If you join the draw with the Trust as your agent, then both the club and the Trust will benefit. Full details are provided below.

How much does it cost and what can I win?

Entry is £1 per week. The top prize of £1000 is drawn each Wednesday, as well as a number of smaller prizes. You may have noticed that the top prize has been won by people from Chorley a few times recently.

How will the money be divided up?

Each member pays £1 per week (which works out at £4.34 per month). 50p goes directly to Chorley FC. A further 15p goes to the agent, in this case the Magpies Trust. The agent also gets a percentage of each large win on a ticket which it has sold. This does not come out of the winnings. For example, if you win £1000, the Trust will be given a percentage of this as well. You will receive the full £1000.
The rest of the money is for administration and prizes.

How can I join?

The easiest way to join the draw is to set up a standing order. The Excel form below contains all the information required. Simply print it off, fill in your bank details and post it to your bank. The Trust also requires a copy of your contact details, so please either post a second copy to the Trust (address here) or email your name and address. You will notice that the money is sent directly to an account in the name of Chorley FC, and that the Magpies Trust is named as the agent at the top of the form.
